Fewer than five in operating condition are in New Zealand.
The couple were among enthusiasts who enjoyed a mini rally around Dunedin after last week's annual meeting of the Daimler and Lanchester Owners Club of New Zealand.
Club captain Winston Wingfield said the rally provided an opportunity to show the club's executive the beauty of Dunedin and the quality of the locally owned Daimlers.
''We have one or two nice ones in Dunedin,'' he said.
Eight cars were involved in the mini rally.
