Search continues for Dunedin hunter

The search for the Dunedin hunter missing in South Canterbury will continue today.

Murray Edge (64) has been missing since Sunday night after he became separated from his hunting companion inland from Timaru.

Mr Edge's daughter, Jo Renton, said last night the family had ‘‘no news'' but had been told the search team was formulating a plan for the coming days.

Canterbury Rural Area commander Inspector Dave Gaskin said a team of about 20 police and volunteers searched yesterday.
