Union supporters rally outside Radius Fulton Care Centre in Hillside Rd, Dunedin, yesterday.

Ann Galloway, of Unions Otago, said Radius had not passed on a 5% government funding increase to workers, to whom it offered 1% instead.

None of the home's workers joined the protest.

Radius Care New Zealand managing director Brien Cree, of Auckland, said the funding claim was incorrect, as the 5% increase applied to rest-home beds only, and the facility was predominantly a hospital-level facility.

The pay talks started in August last year.
