The train show features a display of 17 detailed model trains and backgrounds created by people from throughout the South Island, including two layouts which children are allowed to operate, and ''Parson's Folly'' and ''Chease Flats'' representing New Zealand's West Coast.

The show is open today from 9.30am to 4.30pm and from 9.30am to 4pm tomorrow, costing $8 for adults and $1 for children.

It is located on the ground floor at Forbury Park, in Victoria Rd.
