The foundations for two new BP fuel tanks at the New Zealand Oil Services terminal in Dunedin, are almost complete.

Construction of the tanks is expected to begin in July. They will hold 2 million litres of jet fuel and 2 million litres of diesel, respectively.

New Zealand Oil Services terminal operations manager Steve Simpson said the project was expected to be completed early next year.
