South Dunedin dairy robbed

Police are investigating the aggravated robbery of a Dunedin dairy.

The incident occurred about 8.45pm on Saturday, when a man armed with a weapon entered the 10 O'clock dairy on Prince Albert Rd and threatened the shop keeper inside, Detective Sergeant Rob Hanna, of Dunedin CIB, said.

The offender left on foot empty-handed, leaving the shop keeper "shaken but uninjured", Det Sgt Hanna said.

The offender was described as a male, about 180cm tall and of solid build. He was wearing a blue scarf over his face, a grey jacket with a hood up over his head, blue jeans faded in the knees, and dark-coloured shoes with white soles.
