More than 200 people celebrated the official re-opening of the Mosgiel Memorial RSA on Sunday.
The afternoon ceremony began in the car park in brilliant sun, as Otakou kaumatua Edward Ellison blessed the building.
The gathered group was then led inside by George Johnston (94) and Alan Anderson (92), two of the four surviving members of the Otago Mounted Rifles.
Mosgiel RSA president Noel Graham and national RSA president Brian Clark both spoke, before Mr Ellison blessed the array of newly displayed memorabilia.
