Remedial drainage work at Brighton Domain is working but more needs to be done, Saddle Hill Community Board member Scott Weatherall says.
Mr Weatherall said the work last year had water draining away from the sports grounds but it had begun pooling in other areas of the domain.
''There is still some work to be done there and the council staff have accepted that and we are working on tidying that up for next winter.''
The drainage work had meant more sporting fixtures could be played this winter, he said.
Beautification work was planned, including moving a rubbish bin from the car park to the northern end of the domain.
