Another link in Dunedin's harbour cycle circuit will open on Friday, just in time for thousands of feet to run over it during Sunday's Cadbury Dunedin Marathon.
Contractors were on site yesterday completing the final touches to the four-year project.
The shared walking and cycling path connects Minerva and Wickliffe Sts, avoiding roads and rail lines, allowing seamless access from the city's harbour area to the stadium and beyond.
