Events began on Saturday, when about 150 children attended a balloon artist show, and continues today with an interactive farm animal experience.
Other activities will include police dogs, sled dogs and face-painting.
Pet Warehouse general manager Gareth Keenan said there was often a lack of things for children to do during school holidays, especially for those under 10.
''People are really excited about it,'' Mr Keenan said.
''We want to be that store that's got all that interactive stuff going on [for children].
''It's really quite a vibrant environment.''
Mr Keenan hoped to make it an annual event.
