Collecting for the Pink Ribbon appeal in the Exchange in Dunedin yesterday are (from left) Kirsten Norquay, Andrew Bird and Jan Waters.

They joined nine other MWH colleagues and dusted off their fairy wings, feather boas and pink hats to hit the streets with their collection buckets.

For the sixth year in a row, 12 staff from the engineering consultancy firm got ''glammed up'' to fundraise for breast cancer.

After losing family members to breast cancer MWH team assistant Jan Waters began organising collectors at work in 2010.

''A lot of our collectors have been touched by breast cancer in a personal way - it's a good way to honour their memory,'' she said.

They will also be collecting at the Otago Farmers Market today from 7.30am to noon.

Donations would help the more than 3000 women diagnosed with breast cancer this year, she said.
