A Mosgiel men's club is holding an open night on Friday to attract new members.
Mosgiel Round Table president Evan Mitchell, of Mosgiel, said the ''social'' club aimed to recruit men aged between 18 and 45.
The club had 21 members but many of them were near or beyond the upper age limit.
''We are lacking younger members.''
The club had fortnightly meetings, which focused on fundraising events, business visits or a social event, such as taking children tenpin bowling.
''It's a very family-orientated club.''
Men were invited to attend the open night, which is being held at the Mosgiel RSA on Friday starting at 6pm.
