A model search in Dunedin yesterday discovered the new faces of iD Dunedin Fashion Week.

Logan Park High School pupil Stephanie Devereux and Kaikorai Valley High School pupil Taela Aitcheson (both 16) won the prize to walk in iD's premier runway shows - the iD Dunedin Fashion Show and the iD International Emerging Designer Awards.

The judging panel included Company of Strangers' Sara Munro and Ali Mcd director Darryl McNamara.

Mr McNamara said he was ''thrilled'' with the high standard of modelling talent.

''Stephanie and Taela both demonstrate a unique X factor that is incredibly rare and we're very excited about both winners.''

Stephanie said she was excited but surprised she would be modelling at iD in March next year.

''I thought I'd be too short,'' she said.
