Dunedin police trace bomb threat (+ video)

A bomb threat against Logan Park High School has been traced to a Dunedin property after armed police descended on the school earlier today.

Deputy principal Peter Hills said police had traced the prank call made this morning to a Dunedin landline.

No pupils were at the school, but contractors were working on the new music block.

Police cordoned off the Logan Park area with blockades in place at Harbour Tce, Butts Rd and Dundas St. This was lifted early this afternoon.

Police were working with school staff.
