Holly Todd, of Dunedin, with her oil painting, On the Horizon, which won the 2016 Hope and Sons Art Awards at the Dunedin Railway Station last night.
The work was one of 260 entered by artists from around the South Island, and one of 172 on display at the station.
The works were judged by Otago Polytechnic Dunedin School of Art head Leoni Schmidt.
All were for sale.
Prices range from $150 to $10,000.
