A man is being treated for hypothermia after jumping into a lake in the Bay of Plenty late last night.
A search was launched after the man was seen jumping off a wharf on Lake Rd into Lake Rotorua at about 11pm.
He was spotted swimming towards Mokoia Island.
The man was found by Coastguard at about 12.25am this morning in shoulder deep water.
