Two men were arrested for disorderly conduct near the University of Otago last night in what is understood to have been an attempted burglary.
One of the men arrested on the corner of Albany and Harrow Sts is believed to have been carrying a screwdriver.
A dog unit attended the incident about 8.30pm, a police media spokeswoman said.
No charges had been laid last night, she said.
