Model Victoria Cooper (25, left) and Nellie Jenkins (17)
display the colour of the evening at the official opening
of iD Dunedin Fashion Week, in Wall Street mall, last
night. Photo by Gregor Richardson.
A shot of colour was injected into the wardrobes of
sponsors and special guests as they took up the call to wear
the event's official colour - red.
iD Dunedin Fashion Committee chairwoman Susie Staley launched
the week of events by encouraging them all to enjoy the
frivolity of fashion and be inspired by the creativity on
display.
She also thanked the sponsors who made the week possible,
especially the Dunedin City Council and the Caversham
Foundation as premier funders and Anderson Lloyd Lawyers for
sponsoring guest designer Zandra Rhodes' visit.
