Strong winds are likely to lash Clutha and Dunedin until
early Monday, the MetService says.
Wind gusts were expected to exceed 110kmh about exposed
coastal hills and headlands, and could damage trees,
powerlines and roofs, forecaster Andy Downs said.
The winds could also make driving conditions hazardous for
high-sided vehicles and motorcyclists, he said.
