A 35-year-old Dunedin man has been arrested and charged with
arson after his car was found burnt out late last year.
The burnt-out Subaru was found in McLeod Rd, Burnside, in
November, and a Dunedin CIB investigation led to the arrest
of the owner, police said.
He will appear in Dunedin District Court next week, charged
with vehicle arson and attempting to use a document to obtain
a fraudulent insurance claim.
Three other Dunedin people were also being investigated,
police said.
