This ski patrol member was one of a handful of people left on slopes after snow and white-out conditions put an end to night skiing. Queenstown skier Victoria Taylor was undaunted about being stuck at Coronet Peak's cafe on Saturday night where she celebrated her 13 birthday. Annabel Fonseka, left, from Houston, flew in to Queenstown Saturday afternoon to join her sister Belinda Crichton, of Queenstown, on the slopes for night skiing, and to celebrate their mother's 80th birthday. Unfazed Christchurch visitors, from left, Nick Stace, Anna Leach and Calire Stace, loved the thrill of night skiing before white-out conditions put an end to the action. After an hour and a half wait to get off the mountain, drivers were instructed to use chains and low gear to drive down one at a time on Saturday night after the access road had been closed following an accident.
