Bob and Judith McLeary, both of Wanaka, set up a Challenge Wanaka aid station, near Tarras. Elizabeth Irvine and Carol Hannon, both of Wanaka, volunteered at a station near the head of Lake Dunstan. Graham Patten, of the United Kingdom, and Rox Howes, of Lake Hawea.
