Four Otago drivers are dotted through the 24-team field
contesting today's inaugural Altherm 1000 four-hour race at
the new Hampton Downs track, situated between Hamilton and
Auckland.
Queenstown's Grant Aitken cited getting on to preparing
his Mitsubishi Evo 9 earlier and testing prior to competing,
as reasons for his dominance of the Production racing class.
