New Zealand V8 Supercar driver Jason Richards has cancer of
the adrenal gland, it has been confirmed today.
Richards, 34, continues to recover well from surgery to
remove the tumour from his abdomen last week, and is expected
to leave hospital by the end of the week.
Once he has fully recovered from the surgery, the next step
will be chemotherapy.
