After lengthy rain delays and a freak fuel fire accident,
Matt Kenseth emerged as the Daytona 500 champion, holding off
Dale Earnhardt Jr on the final lap to win an incident-packed
race under floodlights.
Matt Kenseth called for two tyres instead of four on the
final pit stop of the race and that was the strategy he
needed to win the Sprint Cup race at Dover International
Speedway.
