A magnitude 4.8 aftershock has rattled Christchurch this
morning, GNS Science reports.
The jolt struck at 8.28am, and was centred 10km east of the
city off the coast of New Brighton at a depth of 15km.
The quake was felt strongly across the city and felt
throughout the Canterbury region.
Earlier, a magnitude 3.8 struck at 12.31am, 20km northeast of
the city at a depth of 15km.
