Police have yet to identify the jogger found dead in a south
Auckland park earlier today.
The man was found at Otamariki Park, on the corner of Bairds
Rd and East Tamaki Rd in Otara, at 12.20pm and police said it
appeared he collapsed and died while jogging in the area.
He was wearing lycra running shorts, a black lycra running
top, black running shoes and a white cap, and also had a
Mohawk hairstyle.
The man is described as a male Maori or Pacific Islander aged
about 40. Police said he had "distinctive" facial tattoos and
a dragon tattoo on his throat.
The death was not thought to be suspicious.
