A woman with serious injuries was this afternoon trapped in a car down a bank in west Auckland.
A Fire Service spokesman said the car had gone down a bank near Bridgens Ave, Te Atatu, about 1.50pm.
It was unclear how the vehicle had reached the area as it is not next to a road.
Firefighters were attempting to get the woman out.
Police and ambulance staff were also at the scene.
