A convicted child sex offender remains on the run from
police, after breaching his extended supervision order and
fleeing from Wellington in a stolen car.
Multiple arrest warrants have been issued for Darren Albert
Jolly after he fled his Wellington address last Wednesday.
The 47-year-old was believed to be heading for Auckland, and
had already been in Taupo and Hamilton, police said.
Police believed he had taken a vehicle from a Kapiti car
dealership.
Police said Jolly had a history of failing to stop and
driving dangerously at extremely high speeds to avoid arrest.
He has known connections in Wellington, Taranaki, Waikato,
Bay of Plenty and Auckland.
Police would like to hear from anyone who sees a blue Honda
Civic sedan with the registration AYT134.
