Concern is mounting for a west Auckland mother and child who
have not been in contact with authorities since the beginning
of the month.
Toni Reihana, 41, was believed to be hiding in west Auckland,
or visiting family in the Hokianga, with her three-year-old
daughter Keyana.
"There is increasing concern for her welfare and the
wellbeing of her daughter. Multiple enquiries have failed to
locate the pair," police said in a statement.
Ms Reihana was described as Maori, 1.6 metres tall and of
slim to medium build.
Keyana was described as Maori with a fair complexion and
brown hair.
Anyone with information about the missing pair was urged to
contact Constable Alison Wilson at Henderson police on (09)
839 0608 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
