A Western Bay pair charged in relation to the gunpoint
hold-up of a female bar manager in Te Puke will defend the
allegations at trial in March.
Roading worker Kane Peter Wall, 21, and Jessica Pohuturangi
Dinsdale, 22, have denied one joint charge each of aggravated
robbery of the Inbargo Bar and Bistro Bar manager on October
15, 2011.
Police allege Wall held a single-barrelled shotgun at the bar
manager before fleeing with $260 cash, while Dinsdale drove
the getaway car.
The March 4 trial was confirmed in Tauranga District Court
yesterday.
