There are still 177 properties without power this morning as
a result of Thursday's tornado in West Auckland.
Lines company Vector said in a statement multiple crews were
working well into the night in the Hobsonville area and had
restored power to another 280 customers.
"This leaves 177 customers without supply at this point.
However, some of these properties are amongst the 150 most
badly damaged and are potentially uninhabitable," it said.
