Lotto's Winning Wheel glitter cannon has been temporarily
suspended, after a woman tripped and fell on the set last
night.
Janice from Whangarei spun the wheel one click too far from
the million dollar slot when she became overwhelmed, stepped
back and tripped on the set, Newstalk ZB reported.
Lotteries spokeswoman Karen Jones said Janice was cleared by
a doctor and left just a tad embarrassed about her ordeal.
She said the Lotto set would be reviewed, and the crew would
not be firing off the scary glitter cannon for now.
