A teenage woman was sexually assaulted by a stranger in Te
Awamutu early on Boxing Day.
Detective Dean Schrader said the 18-year-old was attacked
near the intersection of Teasdale St and Downes St about 1am.
The offender was described as a dark-skinned man of medium
build and about 1.7 metres tall. He was carrying a shoulder
bag with a flap and fastener clip at the front.
