A man has died after a workplace accident at Wellington's
port early today.
The CentrePort worker was caught between a forklift and cargo
during a warehouse packing operation, a police spokesman
said.
The incident happened shortly after midnight.
Port representatives were speaking with the man's next of kin
at the moment, the spokesman said.
The Government's labour group, police and CentrePort were all
launching investigations into the death.
