A teenager was indecently assaulted as he travelled on a
Christchurch bus on Saturday afternoon.
The 16-year-old was travelling on the Leopard Coachlines
number 5 service between New Brighton and Eastgate Mall in
Linwood, Detective Brent Lyford said.
His attacker got off the bus near the mall and was last seen
running east on Buckleys Rd.
Police want to hear from anyone with information on the man,
described as European and in his mid-20s. He was of medium
build with a chubby face, dark mid-neck length hair combed
back and a goatee beard.
The boy was not injured.
