A 3-year-old boy is in hospital with critical injuries after
being hit by a car in south Auckland this morning.
The driver fled the scene in the vehicle.
Emergency services were called to Bairds Rd in Otara just
after 10am.
The boy was taken to Middlemore Hospital in a critical
condition.
