A woman has appeared in court this morning charged with
murdering her husband.
Lucille Sarah Scollay (44) made a brief appearance at
Christchurch District Court accused of killing husband Guy
Christian Scollay at a house in the early hours of yesterday.
Mr Scollay (48) was found dead at his Edgeware Rd home, St
Albans, in Christchurch about 3am.
His wife was arrested at the scene and police said they had
recovered a weapon they believed had been used in the
incident.
Mrs Scollay, a cleaner, appeared in the dock this morning
before Judge Gary MacAskill.
Family members waved to her as defence counsel, Pip Hall made
no application for bail and asked for her to be remanded in
custody until February 25.
No family members wanted to comment as they left court.
The Edgeware Rd property is still under police guard today as
the scene examination continues.
