A 62-year-old man has died after a tractor crash near Gore last night.
Emergency services were called to a Mountain Rd farm at Diamond Peak, near Gore about 7.40pm.
Detective Sergeant Greg Baird, of Gore, said police were investigating the tractor crash which was on steep farm terrain.
He said the man was found dead at the scene, and it appeared that the tractor and trailer were involved in the baling of the paddock.
Police will be conducting a scene examination today and speaking to possible witnesses, he said.
The incident will be referred to the coroner.
