A toddler found alone on the street on Auckland's North Shore
this morning has been reunited with his parents.
The boy, aged about 3 or 4, was found by a member on the
public on Lake Rd in Takapuna about 4am.
He spoke an unknown language, which made communication
difficult, and was wearing jeans and a blue sweatshirt and
socks but no shoes, said police.
The boy was initially kept at North Shore Policing Centre and
was then taken to Child, Youth and Family in Takapuna where
his parents arrived about 10am, said a police spokesman.
