Police have released the name of a motorcyclist, killed in a
collision with a truck on the Hauraki Plains on Friday.
He was 53-year-old Darryl Clifford Robinson, of Karangahake.
Mr Robinson died at the scene of the crash on Swamp Rd after
the motorcycle he was riding collided with a turning truck
and trailer unit near the intersection with State Highway 26
about 6.20am.
The Waikato Serious Crash Unit is investigating the cause of
the crash.
