A shop assistant was left shaken after she was pushed during
an early morning robbery at a 24-hour grocery store in
Invercargill.
Police said a man confronted the 56-year-old woman behind a
shop counter at the Night 'n Day store on Tay St about 1am on
Sunday.
The man pushed her and stole tobacco products before fleeing
the shop.

associates who were waiting outside the shop.

shaken by the incident.
She has been referred to victim support.
Police have arrested a 23-year-old unemployed man who was due
to appear in Invercargill District Court charged with
robbery.
They have also spoken to two other men, believed to be
associates of the first man, but inquiries are continuing.
Police would like to speak to anyone who was in or around the
Night 'n Day store between 12.30am and 1am on Sunday, and who
