A person has been hit and killed by a train at a station in
Palmerston North this morning.
Police said emergency services were called to the incident at
the station on Matthews Avenue about 6.30am.
Ambulance, Police and Fire Service were at the scene.
It was understood the train involved was a southbound
service, which has been delayed.
