Two people suffered smoke inhalation in a Christchurch house fire last night.
A Fire Service spokesman said emergency services were called to the blaze on Hassals Lane, Waltham, at 8.30pm.
Two people were inside the burning building when firefighters arrived.
It was unclear whether they had managed to get out themselves or been rescued.
They were transported to hospital.
The fire was not being treated as suspicious.
