Three people, including two suspected bank robbers, have been
hurt after a police chase on Auckland's southern motorway
ended with the suspects' vehicle crashing.
Police said they were alerted to a bank robbery at Westpac in
Pukekohe about 12pm.
A vehicle with stolen plates was located but failed to stop.
After a pursuit, the vehicle crashed on the southern motorway
near the Karaka interchange.
Three people, including the the two alleged offenders, were
No-one else was being sought, police said.
The motorway was closed northbound from Drury and motorists
were advised to avoid the area.
