A van towing a horse float has rolled just outside Te Puke.
Emergency services are at the scene of the crash on State Highway 2.
A police communications spokesman said a van towing a horse float had rolled near the intersection of Te Matai Rd.
Northern Fire Communications shift manager Scott Osmond said no-one was trapped and those involved didn't suffer any serious injuries.
Traffic is currently backed up in both directions from Te Puke.
Police have warned motorists to expect delays as the road is cleared and they investigate the cause of the crash.
