A three-month old baby is in a critical condition with serious injuries after a reported fall at his family's home in Riverton.
The baby has been flown to Starship Hospital in Auckland after being stablised at Southland Hospital.
Emergency services were called to an address in the Southland town at around 7.25pm yesterday after reports that a baby had suffered serious injuries and was unresponsive.
Police say their investigation into the incident is at an early stage.
