Police are looking for two men following a violent home
invasion in Papamoa earlier today.
Detective Sergeant Darryl Brazier said police believed the
men involved in the aggravated burglary and assault at the
Karewa Parade home this morning were carrying a hammer and a
Mr Brazier said the men were described as Maori, in their 30s
to early 40s.
Police understood two men confronted the three occupants of
the house, assaulting one and threatening each of them before
leaving with some of their belongings, he said.
