Missing boy found safe and well

A 9-year-old epileptic boy who was missing overnight has been found safe and well, police say.

Linkin Kuka was at a friend's home in Henderson this morning

Linkin left his West Auckland home yesterday morning - his mum April's 37th birthday - to play with a friend, and was expected home later in the afternoon.

When he did not arrive home by 5.30pm, his family contacted police.

Police discovered Linkin had arrived at his friend's house in Millbrook Rd about 10am, but left shortly afterwards because his friend was sick and not able to play.

Linkin suffers from epilepsy and was due to have his medication about 5pm yesterday.
