An investigation has been
launched into how a Gore school fire was sparked last
Emergency services were called to the blaze at East Gore
Primary School shortly before 8pm.
It gutted a building used by the school as a storage and
wet-weather facility. The school planned to be open today.
Detective Sergeant Greg Baird of Gore police said it was too
early to say whether the fire was suspicious.
Police are appealing to hear from anyone who might have
information that could assist the investigation. They can
